All had a very good and enjoyable day yesterday, and they had a camp fire
last night.  They had a really enjoyable day and all students took part in
the different activities.  All had a good night’s sleep and after breakfast
they will be packing and loading up the bus.  They will then take part in
Circus activities and will have their lunch before returning back to school
around 2pm.  All students will arrive home at their usual time.

The weather wasn’t very good yesterday so the campfire was postponed.
However they had a disco instead but our staff and children only stayed for
a little while.  They did do the Archery yesterday.  All of the students had
a reasonably good night’s sleep.  Today they will be doing a Nature Walk,
Low Ropes and Street Dancing.

We will keep you posted if you require any more information please don’t
hesitate to contact school.

Just a quick note to say they have arrived safe and well.  They had a good
uneventful journey and arrived at 1.15 pm.  They are settling in and finding
their way around.  When they report in again we will of course notify you.
All of the children seem happy and are settled.

Further to the letter and text this is just a reminder due to industrial
action school will be closed to pupils on Thursday 30th June. 

I can appreciate that this is causing you inconvenience and disruption but
it is out of our control.

School will be open as usual on Friday 1st July.

A very big thank you to everyone who helped us raise money on Red Nose Day.

The children all played their parts and we had some wonderful pirates.  The
male members of staff were unrecognisable in their outfits so well done to
them too.  Without your support we would not have been able to raise the
£150.58p (to date).  All monies will of course go to Comic Relief.

Thank you to all who completed the questionnaire on ‘One thing I think would
improve Coppice’.  All the names were entered into a draw and the winner was
Mrs Hill.  She wins complementary tickets to Doncaster Racecourse.  Once
again thank you to all who returned them, your views are very important to
us.
